Multifaceted Luis hails from Atotonilco, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Luis thrives in learning new tasks . He is the breakfast's Chef on Jesus' days off, makes our "to die for granola", is our lead bee-keeper, cares and regulates the chemical for the pool and all hot tubs and maintains Applewood's manicured grounds.
Luis is the proud and caring single father of two beautiful girls that we affectionately call "las ormigas" (the ants) due to their small size and high energy level.
Breakfast Chef Jesus Melgoza has his roots in his family's ranch in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico.
He helps in the cultivation of vegetables in Applewood's garden and personally gathers the fresh mint, rosemary and herbes for garnish or the tomatillos used in his signature Huevos Rancheros sauce.
